Top quality one of the most beautiful examples of Kinkozan work Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) Satsuma Vase. There are fine detailed three big and three smaller decorative panels and kanji on the body of the vase, fine gold stripe line with butterflies and flower design on the upper part of the vase, and various decoration on top and the bottom of the vase.
Big decorative panels depict various scenes with a man and a woman in beautiful kimonos, grass over tone-changing yellow- green background, and unusual configuration of gold-decorated frame around the scroll on one panel; fine painting of a landscape with golden temple, trees, water and mountains on the background on another panel, and colorful chicken and a roosters with fine details over realistic looking birds, on the third panel.
The signature and a seal of Kinkozan is on the bottom of the vase.
