Rare Japanese fan-shaped Satsuma Vase
Rare Japanese Meiji Period C19th finely hand-decorated fan-shaped Satsuma vase with feet in a shape of scrolls. The vase depicts a scene of two birds over bushes with pomegranates with blossoms and morning glory blossoms on one side. The opposite side of the vase as well as sides is decorated with flower blossoms and leaf designs. There is also magnificent enamel work decorations over the upper and lower parts of the vase. The scroll- shaped feet also have scroll ornaments. 12 1/2" wide x 8 3/4" tall x 6 1/2" deep.
