Finely carved Japanese Meiji Period Tokyo School ivory lidded box in a shape of a fish with Ibitsu on top. The carving is of a top quality; eyes are horn-inlaid. There is a fine scrimshaw work. It is made by a a great Touri-sai Yu-sei. It has a beautiful patina, no cracks, no losses and no damages.
