Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) top quality Satsuma Sake Pot with finely hand-painted detailed decorative scrolls. There are scenes with two flying birds over the landscape with flowers and plants, a woman and a samurai in front of each other, three samurai and a boy on the background, a fence, sakura and tree blossoms on the background of the vase.
The magnificent fine gold decorations over cobalt blue background are painted throughout the Sake Pot. It has an original Bamboo handles. The signature of Kinkozan is underneath the Sake Pot.
It is 5" D x 2 1/4" with a handle down; 5 1/4" with a handle up.
