A Stunning Antique Diamond Wedding Ring, Vintage Art Deco circa 1920-30's with High Quality Antique Euro Cut Diamond and Hand Engraved Detailing, made by Ostby Barton. The diamond ring was made by Ostby & Barton, one of the most well-known jewelry manufacturers of the period. The firm was founded in 1879 and seems to have disappeared about 1950. One of the principals, Engelhart Ostby, perished in 1912 aboard the Titanic, while his adult daughter survived. This beautiful classic antique diamond ring holds a fine white clean diamond at its center with antique Euro cut facets. The diamond measures about 3.7 mm in diameter and is estimated to weight about .20ct. The setting is beautifully made as Ostby and Barton is known for their quality. It has hand engraved detailing and is composed of 14K white gold. The setting is marked 14K and OB for Ostby Barton. Overall the ring measures about 11/32 inch long by about 3/4 inch wide from side to side. Ring Size: about 7 (could be resized by your jeweler or ask me about using mine before shipping). This ring was acquired through an estate collection and is in lovely vintage condition.
