A Stunning Pair of Antique Akoya Pearl Earrings Vintage Art Deco Silver, circa 1930's. This beautiful pair of estate earrings hold a beautiful array of lustrous genuine Japanese akoya pearls, each measuring about 6mm in diameter. The pearls are gorgeous, similar to those found in vintage Mikimoto pieces. Mikimoto used to sell extra pearls to surrounding jewelers during this time. The settings are Art Deco era and composed of sterling silver. They have screw style backings that can be worn on pierced or unpierced ears. Each earring measures about 11/16 inch long by about 3/4 inch wide from side to side. These earrings were acquired through an estate collection and are in lovely vintage condition.
