| Specializing in Antique and Bridal Jewelry. A most exquisite Antique Victorian - Edwardian 14K White Gold Filigree Brooch. This piece would be a wonderful addition to anyone's collection or a beautiful delicate piece of one's bridal jewelry collection. This piece is quite substantial measuring approximately 2 ¼ inches in length. It is composed of a repeated pattern of Edwardian Florets amogst finely detailed Filigree Openwork with a Chased Milligrained border. The detail is so crisp and wonderful in this piece and was all hand-finished unlike modern day reproductions. It is composed of solid 14K white gold with what appears to be a Rhodium or PLATINUM finish which was quite popular during this time period. The back closes with the original safety clasp and is ready to wear. It is in lovely condition. An original beauty from one of the most prized periods in estate jewelry. Circa 1910. | |||||||||||
