| ABSOLUTELY EXQUISITE VINTAGE ART DECO MOTIF DIAMOND DRAGONFLY EARRINGS IN PLATINUM FINISHED 14K WHITE GOLD. Each of these exceptional earrings holds a dazzling array of bright white genuine Diamonds, 28 individual Diamonds in each earring, so 56 Diamonds total in the set! They are exquisitely set in a Dragonfly Motif, a favorite of Art Deco and Art Nouveau jewelers . The settings are finely constructed of solid 14K white gold with a Platinum or Rhodium finish giving them a very crisp clean polished look. There is mill grained detailing around the edge of the dragonfly and they have post backings for pierced ears. They are marked 585, a European mark but their exact origin is unknown. This wonderful pair came out of a beautiful estate collection and did not come with any specific date information. Each earring measures about 3/5 x 5/8 inch. They are also marked for 14K and have Hallmarks as well which I cannot make out…always a sign of quality and most likely a designer made piece. These are the earrings that will be cherished for life.
