| A Superb Antique Georgian Garnet Turquoise Brooch in 14K Gold, Pre - Victorian early 1800's. This gorgeous antique pin holds an antique rose cut garnet at its center measuring about 9 x 11mm oval. The rich colors in these garnets is amazing. There is a garnet flanking the center stone and turquoise set in silver on the outer portion of the design. The frame is 14K yellow gold and has exquisite antique detailing. The entire pin measures about 1 3/8 inches long by about 15/16 inch wide and it is in lovely estate condition. The pin back is original, which is rare for a piece of this age. This is an original Georgian Period piece, circa early 1800's. A lovely and rare find. | |||||||||
