| A Lovely Antique Art Nouveau Butterfly Brooch in Gold Gilt Filigree, Italian circa 1910. This beautiful example is composed of handmade intricate filigree made of antique gold gilt upon silver. The butterfly measures about 2 1/4 inches wide by about 1 1/2 inches long and is in beautiful vintage condition. The brooch closes in the back with the original "C" style clasp. It is estimated that this piece dates to the Art Nouveau period circa 1910, but could be a bit earlier or later. A wonderful antique treasure. | |||||||
