Stunning bronze sword handle from the Dian Kingdom that paralleled the Han Dynasty. Judging from the heavy triangular pommels and spikes near the blade, these were designed for close quarter combat that would look right at home in a fight scene out of Game of Thrones. This has a classic azurite patina with traces of the original iron blades...

Gilt copper repousse head of a fierce Tibetan divine being. This was part of a much larger statue so it is difficult to specifically date and identify without seeing it in its original context, but is certainly an old piece 60 to 100 years or more. Possibly it was worn a necklace by a huge statue of a Yiddam or Dharmapala. H: 8cm/3.in. A perspex stand (H: 16cm/6.2) is included, but this not a custom made piece.

Quirky and eclectic collection of 35 small repousse copper plaques or tokens. These were collected in Dali, Yunnan, China in the late 1980s. No two are exactly alike and seem to be influenced by Tantric Buddhism in that the endless knot, parasol, lotus throne, and temple banner motifs are represented in this lot as well as more traditional Chinese symbols such as bats and butterflies. In the last image I have shown a Qilin the only image in this group that has a hallmark...

Old (100 years or more) leather belt from Tibet with 5 damascened silver patterns on iron fittings with complete buckle. There is some rust on the metal bits, maybe some Silvo polish on them will bring some of the shine back to the silver. All the pieces seem to be here except for a scabbard attachment. Total L: 118cm/46.5in. I bought this the Barkor bazaar in front of the Jokang in Lhasa almost 20 years ago; the leather is rough but serviceable.
