| Nice old three paneled “tube” sarong from West Timor, made from all natural dyes, hand spun coarse cotton thread and hand-woven. This piece is 40 to 50 years old and would have been worn from the feet to beneath the shoulder. The center panel pattern has been woven into the cloth with the warp thread forming the design while the border panel motifs are embroidered. L: 146cm/57in and W: 109cm/42in. (could do with washing to brighten up the white color). | |||||||||
