| Quirky big round ball of green glass; possibly sand cast, this would have been used to carve a Buddha image, from Northern Thailand. In the 1950s the Japanese started exporting mold cast glass images to Thailand and Laos so this practice died out around then. There is a Buddha in there waiting to be realized, otherwise it looks nice on the windowsill, especially when the sun shines through it. Weight 210grams D: 5.5cm/2.2in. | |||||||
