| Very rare Xin (Wang Mang, 9-23 CE) Western/Eastern Han interregnum privately minted bronze charm/coin with Northern Dipper Constellation (Big Dipper), tortoise and sword symbols on obverse side. I have compared this with an original Wang Mang coin and there is no difference in material or size other than the symbols i.e., this was meant to be a lucky charm and not money. There is a minor split in the lower right quadrant on the face, barely visible on the other side unless you pick at the verdigris to find it. Note scale is metric. | ||||||
