| Delightful carving of a nephrite jade cat, Qing Dynasty. Please note how each hair is painstakingly hand carved and the naturally occurring dark colors in the stone are incorporated into the carving. If you turn him over you will see he is hiding a fish between his paws. May be worn as a toggle/pendant or left free standing. Excellent condition, L” 4cm/1.5in, acquired in a state owned Antiques and Curios shop in Luoyang, Shaanxi Province in the late 80s. | |||||||||
