| Exceptionally rare alabaster elephant from Burma, (at least it’s the only one I have ever seen). This was probably part of a Buddhist votive ensemble. Excellent condition circa 19 CE Mandalay period, with traces of heavy black and gold lacquer. Dimensions: L: 12.5cm/5in and H: 10cm/4in. | |||||||||
