| Very fine traditional Tibetan robe (chuba) handwoven sash with P’ulo-tigma (wax resist/tie dye) red and black medallions, composed of wool (possibly Yak?) weft and cotton warp. My original intention was use this to make borders for an antique Tibetan rug, but it seems a shame to cut up such a nice piece. This was sourced from Tibetan traders from Dharamshala and is contemporary using traditional techniques. L: 3.8m/12.4ft x W: 14cm/5.5in. | ||||||
