| Karen ethnic group double woven basket with lid, approximately 80 years old, from the Thai/Burmese border. Please note that this basket has an extra woven inner lining. The Karen are well known for their expert basket weaving abilities. This basket has been sealed with lac, to act as water proofing. Condition: two small holes at base that may be noted from photos, other than that excellent. Dimensions: 42cm/16.5in height and 20cm/7.9in diameter at lid. | |||||||||||
