| Fine and rare Iban shaman’s pua circa 19th century. This miniature pua was used by Sarawak indigenous healers. It is colored with all natural dyes and the thick warp thread suggests that this was woven from native jungle cotton. Acquired on a recent trip to Sarawak, this only small pua a I saw out of well over a 100 pieces I examined. Aside from a couple of "pin holes", this textile is in perfect condition. L: 120cm/47.5in and W: 52cm/18.5cm. | |||||||||||
