| Sepik River Region Mask. Made from a turtle shell and clay, it is studded with cowry shells and is framed in woven rattan with Lyre Bird feathers inserted at the top. Approximately 30 or 40 years old. Condition some repair to the clay face. Ochre and white pigment still intact. An excellent example of Papua New Guinean Primitive Art. Dimensions: 21.5cm/8.5in height and 16.2cm/6.4in width. | ||||||
