| Very fine Lanna Thai Buddhist reading implement (analogous to a Yad Torah Pointer). Used to mark pages and point out words while reciting a sutra from a typical Buddhist text, i.e. individual pages sandwiched between two small wooden planks, although the use of these are confined to Northern Thai Lanna Buddhist books only. Oldish, piece circa 50 years appears to have been relacquered. Perfect condition, comes with custom made metal stand.
