AIGMV Mother's Day Weekend Art Show
Methuen Music Hall on Broadway - Methuen MA
05/07/16 - 05/08/16

A brand new art show already garnering much buzz and excitement hosted by Arts Institute Group of the Merrimack Valley! Located at the historic and beautiful Methuen Memorial Music Hall on Broadway, with its huge 1863 pipe organ. Please go to or wiki it to to learn more...

This new art show is presented in collaboration with the Gray Court Poets.

I will be exhibiting 3 oils of Methuen locales.

The most interesting is "Father's Day". Why? Because I am looking for the father and son muses that became this painting. Please go to: and read the associated blog - at mid left of any catalog page click the "blog link" .

It was the late 90s, before I closed my last studio/gallery. when a man and his son were spotted sitting on the river rocks. Their moments together tugged at my painter's sensibilities resulting in the oil painting almost 20 years later!. Sketches and photos were retained but their contact info was lost.

Were you and your son photographed by a lady inviting you to see the future painting at a Methuen Square store? Did someone from your family call to view the not-yet-painted-scene?

The young boy would be just about graduating from college now!

My two other oils and various unframed minis will be available. I will be forming and donating a piece of jewelry for the drawing and awarding a gift certificate to one of the fellow artists.

Plan to attend and bring all your art loving friends. Do you recognize the man and his son in the "Father's Day" painting?

When: May 7 & 8
Time: 10 am - 4pm with a Sunday drawing with ticket purchase to benefit AIGMV scholarship fund.
Where: Methuen Memorial Music Hall - Broadway - Methuen MA
