An American Federal period inlaid mahogany demi-lune card table, Middle Atlantic, circa 1790. The table with a fold over top and swing leg over a base with an inlaid band at the lower edge of the frieze. The legs are squared and tapered with inlaid cuffs. A fine German Eighteenth Century burr walnut fall front desk, circa 1770. The fall front lid with vigorously grained walnut opens to an elaborate stepped interior fitted with small drawers and dividers framing the prospect door. There is a sliding panel in the writing surface which opens to reveal the map well. The case is fitted with two short drawers over two additional long drawers. The commode with a painted faux marble top in tones of amber and cream over a serpentine case fitted with two long drawers over short cabriole legs. There are five small short drawers below the dividers. The case with four drawers above a base with straight bracket feet. The desk is worked in a wonderfully striped tiger maple with fine color.
