Aime Dupont, Belgian 1840-1903. " Portrait Of A Woman ", Miniature photograph/painting. Signed Aime Dupont lower center. Condition good with some minor loss on edges below the liner of frame. The portrait is both a photograph on glass enhanced with hand painting. Dimensions: Height 4", Width 3". Dupont was a renowned portraitist of opera singers in Paris and in New York in the late Nineteenth Century. He died in 1903 but his studio continued on into the 1930's..".&qu ...click for details
