| A fine English Charles II carved walnut armchair circa 1680. The chair with an elaborately carved reticulated crest with swirling acanthus leaves flanking a crown. The back legs, barley twist in form surrounding a caned back with acanthus and crown carved decoration. The arms with terminating with large scrolls over baluster form front supports. The front legs scrolled with carved leafage connected by a large carved stretcher. Condition is good with some restoration to the lower portion of the feet and a restoration to a portion of the right arm. Dimensions: Height 53", Depth 28", Width 25". | ||||||||||
