| A fine American Philadelphia Chippendale Style Lowboy Circa 1870-1880. The lowboy with a single board molded mahogany top over a case with carved fluted quarter columns flanking a long and three small drawers. The center drawer carved with a concave shell and surrounding grasses. The shaped apron decorated with a full convex carved shell. The case supported on four cabriole legs with acanthus carved knees terminating in well developed claw and ball feet. Condition is very good with rich color and fine patina. The lowboy is a cabinet made piece employing 18th Century construction technique. Dimensions: Height 30 1/2", Depth 21 1/2", Width 35 1/2". | |||||||||||
