A fun vintage two sided heart shaped locket in 18K gold with faceted garnets. There are a total of 64 garnets set in Florentined gold. The heart opens to reveal a shallow well. It closes tightly. The gold tests 18K, but there are no marks. The locket measures 1 1/2" including the bale and 1 1/4" in width. Condition is excellent and it dates c. 1960.
