An exceptionally fine Russian imperial era (dated 1856) small teapot. It measures 7 1/4" high to the tip of the ivory finial, and 8 1/4" from ivory handle to silver spout. A handsome ivory handle, and finial finish the piece. The condition is superb, and this is an excellent example of the finest Russian workmanship from a Nineteenth Century atalier. The piece is marked 84. Weight 18.8 troy ounces.
