| A fine German Eighteenth Century burr walnut fall front desk, circa 1770. The fall front lid with vigorously grained walnut opens to an elaborate stepped interior fitted with small drawers and dividers framing the prospect door. There is a sliding panel in the writing surface which opens to reveal the map well. The case is fitted with two short drawers over two additional long drawers. The desk rests on four ogee bracket feet. Condition: Excellent with fine color and patina. Dimensions: Height 41", Depth 23", Width 41 1/2". | |||||||||||
