The etching is called 'three sisters', and it was made in 1913 as part of a series Hjert&Hjert 268. Signed in pencil. Reference: Asplund 258. Size: 18 3/4 inches x 14 1/4 inches. A stunning and rare lithography by Corneille (Cornelis Guillaume van Beverloo born in Belgium 1922). The title is 'Dialogue d'ovilaux'. Corneille was one of the founders of the main modernist movements in Europe in the 1940s. First the Reflex movement in 1948 and later the Cobra movement in 1949. His works are represented in museums of modern art all over the world. Signed: Corneille 76 numbered 26/150 in pencil. Perfect condition. Height: 29 3/4 inches high and 22 inches wide.
