Art deco coffee set consisting of coffee pot, sugar bowl, and creamer deaigned by Friedrich Fleischman for Rosenthal in the 1930's. The set was made between 1930-32. It is in excellent condition. Height of coffee pot: 8½ inches (21.5 cm); width: 10½ inches (27 cm). Sugar bowl: 4 x 7.5 inches(11 x 19.5 cm). Creamer: 2.7 x ½ inches (7 x 14 cm). All pieces signed: Rosenthal Selb.

Figurine designed by Dorothea Charol for Rosenthal Bahnhof-selb factory, Germany. About 1925. The figure is named 'Anita' and it represents a famous dancer from the time, Anita Berber. Dorothea Charol was a member of the Russian colony of emigrants in Berlin. In the 1920s she was the most prominent designer for the art department of the Bahnhof-selb factory. Signed: 101a Bahnhof-selb Rosenthal mark Bavaria D.R.P.a., the painter's mark in gold, and relief mark. Excellent condition...
