| Interesting art deco dancer from the Rosenthal Bahnhof-selb factory, Germany. About 1925. The figure is designed by the Russian Dorothea Charol who was a member of the Russian colony of Russian emigrants in Berlin. In the 1920s she was the most prominent designer for the art department of the Bahnhof-selb factory. The figure is named 'Anita' and it represents a famous dancer from the time, Anita Berber, the dancer of depravity. Signed: 101a Bahnhof-selb Rosenthal mark Bavaria D.R.P.a., the painters mark in gold, and relief mark. Mint condition. Height: 11.4 inches. | ||
