Up for sale is a very rare antique Chinese Qing dynasty embroidered silk tapestry with 5-color clouds designated for imperial family use only, together with colored bats carrying auspicious Buddhist symbols; the cloud pattern suggested that it is dated back to the first half of 1700's., during the reign of the Chi'en Lung or Qian Long emperor, very intricate embroideries from high quality workmanship! It may have been used as a curtain or wall hanging back then. The embroidered bordered might have added later on in.
The tapestry is overall in very good condition, light discoloration & stains in a few areas, red silk ground and backing, but still an amazing piece more than 200 years old.
