| This exceptional 1940’s set adorns the body with a garland of 14k yellow gold flowers and oak leaves. Set in the center of each flower is a blue zircon, which sparkles like diamonds. The leaves and links are shiny, while the interior of each flower takes on a softer appearance with a lovely brushed gold finish. The bracelet is exactly 7 inches in length in spite of the fact that, at some point, one leaf link was removed to make it fit a smaller wrist. The width measures just slightly over 1/2 inch and the bracelet weighs 10.3 grams. This is a beautifully finished piece right down to the pretty clasp, which is marked 14k. The pendant is equally interesting, with a drop of two flowers, separated by a leaf. The two leaves at the top are hinged, so that each link in the pendant is articulated, adding movement and flexibility to the piece. Again, the zircons are well matched and fiery. The pendant measures 1 3/4 inches from the top flower to the bottom flower. The leaves add a bit of length, but that will vary depending on how it lays on your neck. The width of the widest flower is slightly over 1/2 inch. The spread of the two leaves at the top is approximately 1 1/4 inches wide and the chain is 15 inches long. Weight is 4.6 grams. There appears to be a maker’s mark that looks like an F on the back of one of the top leaves. Both the bracelet and necklace are of a lovely quality and in excellent condition! | |||||||||||
