Lyrical and whimsical porcelain tsubo by Ishira Akira with overglaze enamels in red, yellow, green and Persian blue decorating the pure white surface. The surface is covered in red enamel, aka-e style creating a floral framework for the three rabbits articulated around the circumference of the pot with accents in other shades of enamel. Wangata style teabowl with fluid dark and light cobalt decoration decorating the exterior of the chawan. Showing both Seto and Annam styles, this chawan by Nakajima Mokusen (b. 1955) has a very poetic appearance and is a very functional teabowl.

This chawan is in fine condition, was made in 2003 and has its original signed box, measuring 4.9" x 3.25".

Lyrical Toruko-ao Persian style chawan with underglaze decoration of birds and flora around the outside of the bowl with a gold decorated lip and clear glazed interior. Zenga style conical summer teabowl with a attractive Jun glaze over stoneware with calligraphy on the exterior of the bowl; SEI DAI JI and then in a column, DAI Chawan (great chawan). This chawan was made at the Seidaiji temple and is reminiscent of earlier Chinese temmoku and yuteki chawan in form with a Jun glaze that has a visually soft and appealing appearance.

This chawan is stamped as well as signed and is in fine condition with out a box and measures 5.5" x 2.5".

Small Shigaraki kake-ire hanging vase made by Uda Rakuzan. The small uzukumaru like form, intentionally deformed with the face covered in ash and charcoal effects and an incised decoration around the should of the pot. the rear has hi-iro effects and a metal hanger.

Wonderful and intricate ash glazed plate by Ningen Kokuho (Juyo Mukei Bunkazai) Shimaoka Tatsuzo. Fine Oni-Shino chawan by Mino traditional potter, Murata Juko (b.1922).
