Lyrical Toruko-ao Persian style chawan with underglaze decoration of birds and flora around the outside of the bowl with a gold decorated lip and clear glazed interior. This chawan was made by Koizumi Zoho at his family kiln which he claims to go back over 650 years. It is a nice Persian bowl with a Kyoto-yaki style feel to it.
This chawan measures5.5" x 2.75" and comes complete with its original signed box. This chawan is in excellent condition though there is a small hairline which does not impair the use of aesthetics of the piece. |
