| Rare 17thc carved hardwood Madonna & Child-sculpture is one piece to include base-paint is original except for touch-up on skin tones--sculpture was covered with white paint later to impart marble surface -this cover was removed by scraping it off-however some white specks remain--piece is complete- it is believed to be Central European-16 inches high--charming figure that has experienced much history. | |||||||||||||
