| These intensely inlaid tables were made in Wales by a cluster of craftsmen over a 10- year period-roughly 1880-1890-they fall into the Aesthetic movement and are known Tumbridge tables-they come in various shapes and forms but the alternating colors of the inlay are consistent--this table is 30 inches in diameter and 30.5 inches high-the top screws off-there are restorations-top has been professionally reinforced by a wood panel under the top--it works just fine and controls cracking in the veneer--overall condition of table is excellent-table is stable--this table fits into any interior--hand inlaid work | ||||||||||||
