This elegant antique Japanese mixed metal incense box was made during the 19th Century in Japan. The box is made of copper or copper plated brass and is decorated with beautiful floral engravings on all sides. The sterling handles lift up for easy carrying or can be pushed down to either side. The removable top is pierced in a butterfly design with a hole in the center.
