This is a beautiful and rare set of antique solid 830 fine sterling silver candlesticks. They were most probably made in Germany circa 1890-1910 - but there is no mark - so its just a best guess. The candlesticks are done in a very ornate and figural design with a medallion pattern around the columns. The bases are done in an embossed (pushed out) raised scroll motif design. There is a drooping bouquet of flower design done in a manner in which they are styled after tapestries or drapes. This candlesticks would make excellent Shabbat candlesticks. Great for a wedding gift or any other occasion.
