This antique coin silver candy basket was made in America by Albert Coles & Co. in 1850. The oval pedestal dish has a bright cut leafy design around the sides of the bowl and butterflies at each end. There is also beading around the base stem. The movable handle has an olive shaped cartouche for monogramming. This magnificent candy bowl would make a wonderful wedding gift and a fantastic addition to any table!

HALLMARK: MAKERS MARK (picture #2) CONDITION: In good condition with normal surface wear and surface scratches from usage and age. The stem is slightly tilted from the base, but the piece stands solidly. |
