An interesting combination of a no name six key Flageolet and a six key Piccolo in grenadilla wood. Piccolo length is 11 3/4 inches, and blowing length is 10 inches. Flafeolet length without MP is a hair under 13 3/4 inches. All springs are good and there are no cracks.

A Hungarian woodwind instrument that resembles a Soprano Sax in construction but it is made of wood. The bore is tapered like a sax, not conical like a clarinet. It comes apart into 4 pieces like a clarinet but has no tuning barrel. It may be pitched in the key of 'C' or it may be in Bb. They may have been made in different keys but the ones I have seen or read about were all in 'C'. It has a simple kind of key system like an Albert system clarinet. Thanks to my friend Steve, I was able to put together the horn with the original case. Echo Bell Cornet by Distin #486 in Bb with A attachment. 2MPs, strange music clip, and many lead pipes. All over decorative engravings. Excellent condition. Gold washed bell. Double spit. Pride of my collection. Presentation case to "Wm. Shellard, Keyport, NJ." I even have the key to the case.
