| The Portland Packet, Capt. Taylor beating off a French Cutter Privateer near Barbadoes. Designed and engraved by Ethies. Published 24 th April 1797 by John Fairburn, 146 Mineries, London. Cutter 16 guns 16 men; Packet 10 guns 32 men. All that is printed below the engraving. Slight discoloration in the center,but it looks worse in the picture. It has been rematted. Board backing.
