This beautiful Olmec maskette is 36mm long and 27mm wide. It is made from transparent high grade flawless quartz with very high energy. It has a very solid hole at the top center making it perfect to add a gold loop for everyday wear as a pendant. It is nicely scooped in the back. There are two things that make this piece extremely rare and desirable. The first is the size. In 40 years of collecting, I have seen only two authenticate Olmec maskettes that are this small...

I purchased these four Hayes points from Tom Davis in the 1990's. They are from the Mississippian period and were found in SW Arkansas. Tom was selling them for Ken Partain and they are pictured in Prehistoric Antiquities of which I have the original publication. Tom sent me 79 Hayes points. I cherry picked the top four. All Hayes points are extremely rare and most on the market are fake according to one of top area authenticators...

This limestone cement image of Quetzalcoatl was found by the famous Dr. Allen Heflin in September of 1954 and is so inscribed on the bottom. It still has its original obsidian eyes. It is 4" long. It is badly weathered, but the features are easily recognizable although the camera did not pick them up fully. It dates to 100BC-200AD. This is an extremely rare piece. I have not seen another.

This Olmec translucent jade figure is 1 7/8" long. The bottom was broken off in antiquity which allows one to peer into its ancient patina and jade composition and also keeps the price affordable. The drill hole is original which is important as it is the best place to look at for authenticity. I had a jeweler install a modern 14K gold loop so I could wear it. It has excellent provenance which goes to the buyer.

This G-10+ Columbia River Eastgate Gem Point is undeniably one of the best ever found. It is made out of translucent honey colored agate which is heavily patinated. Its composition reminds me of Hixton quartz. It is 1 3/4" long. There isn't a ding, flea bite or mistake made anywhere including the tip. There are no stacks or curves. The left side mirrors the right. You cannot tell the difference between side A and side B. This is true art and balanced perfection. The flaking is micro and impeccab...

This Chavin 23-24K pure gold hammered pendant or nose ornament depicts the Chavin Monster/Dragon swallowing some poor sap whole with his head sticking out of the monster's mouth and blood spurting out of the top of his head. It is paper thin and 1 5/8" in diameter. This grizzly macabre scene is a true piece of pre-Columbian art. This ultra-rare pre-Columbian shell carving is 2 1/4" and has two suspension holes. The shell is translucent and shows beautiful patina. The holes are correct. It has the characteristics of being from the Nayarit culture c.200 BC- 200 AD. The figure appears to be holding a mace weapon similar to the Spiro Mounds type. The figure is wearing an elaborate necklace and ear spools. It also has a weeping eye motif which connects it to the shell gorgets of the Southeast pictured below on my weeping eye...

It was found in 1960 at the Tellico Site in Monroe County, Tennessee. The prices on these gorgets have been soaring i...

If you own the finest Columbia River gem point collection, this will be your centerpiece. It is the only AUTHENTICATED PRECIOUS FIRE OPAL POINT FROM THE COLUMBIA RIVER KNOWN TO EXIST. This opal point was found in 1955 at the foot of Hart Mountain, Crump Lake area, Oregon, by Bob Rock, in the presence of the late Carroll Howe which I confirmed with a telephone call to Carroll. Carroll wrote four books on northwest material. There is an opal outcropping about 30 miles away that matches this ty...
