This G-10+ Columbia River Eastgate Gem Point is undeniably one of the best ever found. It was found in Sherman County, Oregon. It is made out of translucent honey colored agatized petrified brunt palm wood which is heavily patinated. It is 1 3/4" long. There isn't a ding, flea bite or mistake made anywhere including the tip. There are no stacks or curves. The left side mirrors the right. You cannot tell the difference between side A and side B. This is true art and balanced perfection. The flaking is micro and impeccable. It is as thin and delicate as it ever gets. It is flawless. This one has to be held to be believed. This is truly a gem-point's gem-point. This point is extraordinarily rare and I doubt one will find an equal in a lifetime. "This point is of a special variety known as basel-notched. A tiny notch is chipped in the center of the stem. Every point found with this notch is a masterpiece, a work of art in both form and material. It may have been the hallmark of an especially gifted craftsman." (From "Stone Age of the Columbia River" by Emory Strong). True G-10s are extremely rare and always in high demand. It comes with a Bill Brenkinridge laser spectrograph COA.
