This incredible Olmec true blue translucent jadeite spoon, used to ingest hallucinogenic substances, is in the effigy of a jaguar tooth with an engraving showing the gum line. It has two holes drilled for suspension. The tooth is just shy of 2 1/2" and 1/2" wide. The material has specific gravity tested to be true jadeite. The blue color is evenly dispersed throughout the piece and it is the highest quality blue jade I have ever seen. It is true gem quality. It has a modern 18K gold loop. This is a piece that is meant to be worn. This combines all the elements of a true Olmec piece of jewelry; the finest quality blue jade, the classic Olmec jaguar imagery and in the form of a spoon.
