DESCRIPTION: A lovely mounted crib quilt in a tumbling blocks pattern, the colors making the optical illusion of six point stars. Quilt is mounted with light sewing onto stapled muslin, and can be hung in two directions. From the collection of a Pawling, New York collector. DIMENSIONS: 39" x 54".

DESCRIPTION: A hand woven Native American rug in a traditional tumbling blocks pattern, a Navajo motif also found in Americana quilts. This attractive, double sided, flat weave wool rug uses natural dyes in red, black and tan to form the block designs. Very good condition, no holes or tears. DIMENSIONS: 55” x 35".

DESCRIPTION: A very good woven oak-splint basket in lobed buttocks form, used as a field gathering basket or a market basket for goods. This large early 1900’s Pennsylvania basket has a sturdy bentwood handle with double bentwood-wrapped rims; old varnish finish. Very good condition with minor usage wear. For size reference, the last photo in this listing shows this basket displayed on top of our Country Corner Cabinet (#A-CBL2). DIMENSIONS: 20” wide x 17" high.

DESCRIPTION: A vintage terra cotta pitcher (or handled pot), skillfully hand-painted in green and white glazes with deer painted on each side using fluid brush strokes. Originating from the Tlaquepaque-Tonala area of Mexico, this delightful redware pitcher is in excellent condition; no chips or cracks. DIMENSIONS: Body is 6.25” x 5.5”; 5” high.

DESCRIPTION: A colorful folk art game board of alternating red and black squares for playing checkers or chess, bordered by green and white triangles, giving an overall pleasing geometric effect. An eye hook has been mounted on one edge for hanging; very good condition, C. 1900's. DIMENSIONS: 17.5” square.

The rectangular top is mounted over a door that opens to an interior cabinet with three shelves. A delightful piece for the bedroom or country/cottage interior, 20th C. DESCRIPTION: This dynamic and colorful Alebrije goat (or ram) is carved as if in a full run, its long front leg folded under its body in mid-stride. Two huge white horns curl from the top of its head to its ears. His green speckled body is accented with vibrant red "stripes" running down his back, tail and legs, while a purple design covers his belly. This large, delightful animal is signed on the underside, "Narcisco Gonzalez Ramirez, Arrazola, Oaxaca Oax., Mexico." Excellent condition...

DESCRIPTION: A white, luxurious, deep-pile llama fur rug with a white hide-leather back. This is the kind of wonderful fur rug you love to walk on (or lay in) during a cold winter's evening. Excellent condition with no fur loss, this rug is very soft to the touch, and would be a plush addition to the back of a sofa, or on a bedroom or lodge floor. DESCRIPTION: A large, hand coiled Zia Pueblo Olla by noted Zia potter, Elizabeth Medina. This well formed pot has high shoulders tapering to a narrow foot, and is painted in four traditional Zia colors with natural sienna, burnt sienna and black designs on a white ground...

DESCRIPTION: A beautifully painted, very large Mexican charger (or platter) with a dark blue outer rim framing two birds perched in a tree, surrounded by scrolling green foliage, large flowers and yellow fruit. Dating from the 1960's, on the reverse is written "Mexico"; the back is pierced with holes for hanging. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. DIMENSIONS: A large 18" diameter (45.8 cm).

DESCRIPTION: A handsome Japanese hibachi, crafted from a section of kiri wood (paulownia wood) with rounded body and lacquer floral designs. Inside is the original copper liner where coals would be placed for heating or keeping a tea pot warm. Two large peony blossoms are lacquered in gold and orange on the front, with smaller leafed branches on the reverse. Paulownia wood is very light, fine-grained, and warp-resistant, and is often used in Japan for chests and boxes...

The Eye Dazzler, so named by early traders because of the intense coloring of the dyes, is a serrated design that was woven in multiple colors of bright aniline dyed yarns in the 1880 - 1890 period...

This greenware olla is skillfully painted in traditional designs including hatched (symbolizing rain), stepped (representing clouds) and curvilinear, with distinctive "heartline" deer figures and bold flowers. These designs speak of water, fertility, the life cycle, the earth and sky, and their interrelationships to each other...

DESCRIPTION: A hand painted and artist signed steer skull with copper accents. The white steer skull is hand painted with Native American designs and incorporates ornamental attachments including copper plates over the eye sockets, an attached copper ring at the top of the skull, and hanging ornaments of leather strips, copper tubing and feathers.
