Very Large, Signed Japanese Bronze Brazier, Meiji
Sold and Shipped to Hong Kong, Thanks

DESCRIPTION: A large Japanese bronze brazier (or censer) of round globular form with pierced fitted cover, Meiji Period c. 1868-1912. The domed pierced lid forms a diaper pattern and dragon-form handles are mounted on the sides, wrapped with leather strips. An attractive golden color, it is signed on its base by the maker. In excellent condition with no dents, this substantial, heavy brazier would make a great fireside piece or decorative accent. DIMENSIONS: A large 15 in diameter (38 cm) x 10 high (26.6 cm). The photos cannot do justice to the great presence this brazier has.
