DESCRIPTION: A large, striking Spanish Colonial style wood framed wall mirror clad in repousse 900 silver, stamped with maker's mark PEREDA in oval cartouche; Peru, early 20th C. The beaded borders enclose flamboyant scrolled foliate vines with large flowers beneath an arched crest. The flat mirror plate is held in place by a rear hinged wood door. The mirrored surface is in good condition and this beautiful wall mirror would make a stunning accent anywhere in the home. DIMENSIONS: 25" high (63.5 cm) x 16" wide (40.6 cm); 5.5 lbs (2.5 kg).
