This Japanese ceramic figure of Kannon measures 17 inches tall and about 6 inches in diameter at its widest point. It has four incised marks on it's base, two Kutani marks and two potters mark (see closeup photo). It dates to the Meiji Period in Japan. Kwannon is also known as Kannon or Kwan Yin and Guanyin in China. It is in outstanding condition with no flaws, cracks, chips or losses. |
